Leonard Animal Hospital in Leonard, TX is looking for a full-time associate to join our family-oriented practice.
Our dedicated team includes three doctors and a large, experienced support staff who provide exceptional care. We are a fast-paced hospital that is looking for an individual who can develop a rapport with clients and has a passion for medicine and surgery. Our ideal candidate would possess strong communication skills, allowing them to easily explain physical examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care to our clients. Quality is our main focus, as our compassionate team works together to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
Our facility has a dental suite with x-ray capability, an x-ray suite for other issues, and a separate cat and dog lobby to better serve our patients and clients. We also provide vaccines, exams, and spays/neuters. Experience is preferred but we welcome new graduates to apply as our doctors are excellent mentors and teachers.
Known as the "Best Little Town in Northeast Texas", Leonard is located in Southwest Fannin County, about 35 minutes from McKinney and one hour from Dallas. Offering a rural feel from the bustles of city life, there is plenty to do nearby including Lil Bitty Rancho, Bear Creek Farm, Powder Creek Pavillion, Buckley Farms, and for the adventurous types, Skydive Spaceland Dallas.
